Emily came to visit me in Smellyville for a couple of days, and we grabbed our Swiss roommate, George, for an adventure to Kerosene Creek. It was a short drive outside Rotorua to find an oasis perfect to share with everyone: a quaint, steaming waterfall flowing into a natural hot bath below. The water felt warm, and only when you got closer to the waterfall or dug around in the sand below did it heat up. A few friends with a couple cold drinks in a beautiful untouched setting. This is exactly as it should be.
